Berlin Syndrome (2017) and The Chosen Ones (2015). Somehow I always manage to find the most disturbing movies on Netflix.

Jupiter Ascending, and it was so much worse than I ever expected.

Interstellar, kind of middle of the road for me but really dug the elevator sequence.

Steamboy, which started out strong and then just draaaaagggged in the last act.

Watched Arrival on Amazon last night. Really good. The kind of film you cannot stop thinking about long after it's over.

Saw "Wonder" Saturday
Very good--Owen Wilson was not that obnoxious
Jacob Tremblay was as good or better than "Room"

Saw "Lady Bird" today
Cast was very strong--Laurie Metcalf should work more often...and Ronan was her excellent self...
Gerwig is very talented as director--
She had that cast in palm of her hand...
Sure Sacremento will be popular city to visit for tourists with its iconic spots enshrined...

Watching "Cool Hand Luke" right now...
Saw it for the first time in college in '67...
And the pleasure is just as strong this many years and times later...

Blood Rage 1987 A suburban apartment complex becomes a scene of carnage following the escape of an institutionalized twin.

Okay this movie was so bad, it was good. Bad acting...check. Predictable story line...check. 80's hair...check. Great gore...check.

And, I hope they finally get there since that was their objective. I never did find out.

My elderly mother has this saved on her SmartTV. It's all that came up no matter which remote she used to channel she went to--lol! I visited for a couple of days and pretended that each scene was very gripping. Too many interruptions. We could not access Netflix or anything. Just watched it because it was saved to her favorites.

A platoon of special ops are tasked to parachute into the remote Burmese jungle and destroy a strategic Japanese radar station, but getting out isn't as easy. (Starring Errol Flynn)
Surely you could help fix your mom's Internet access--
No one deserves to be limited to "Objective, Burma!"
