Supervixens (1975) (a Russ Meyer flick), as part of SUPERCHICK Wednesday. An episode of SOAP, an episode of Supergirl, and this.

Puts a new twist on the story of "Go West, Young Man".

I recalled the picture in Playboy, probably was November 1975 with, if I recall, the late Janet Lupo as PMOM, in "Sex in the Cinema" but I thought, till last night, it was a sexy police woman flick.

Oh, well, full circle completed.

Watched the Jersey Boys on the Showtime Channel earlier this evening. Directed by Clint Eastwood, he does a great job with this film. They were one of the very few recording groups that hung together when the British Invasion steamrolled the rock and roll charts from 1964 to 1970.

Amsterdamned

Started it the other week, finished it last night.

It's fun, it is suspenseful, but...... there are two ways to do a mystery movie, the American way and the other way. This movie is the other way.

Game Changer about the failed campaign with Sarah Palin in 2008. Julianne Moore was awesome in that controversial role.

Death Wish (2018) = 8/10

A few years ago I started to think action was dead.
Death Wish has brought action back to Hollywood, and pulls no punches.
Nobody plays a detective better than Dean Norris.
He was brilliant in Breaking Bad, and brilliant in Death Wish.
And Bruce Willis was at the top of his game, outstanding performance.
