Saw "Alpha" 4/10 IMO...
So many inaccuracies makes my angry to think about them
A YA novel on film but poorly made
Hunger Games trilogy was YA novel so the genre is not the issue...
Just the talent involved...

"Crack in the World"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059065/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Had it around since January, finally got around to watching it. I guess it must have been one of those flicks Amazon recommended because I ordered a lot of sci around then.

Provided it is not compared to "today", it is an enjoyable flick. About the only thing I would say, if I were in the movie, is when the hero charges off to get first hand data (as any hero in any flick does), "Sir, I don't think you should go. We really can't afford to lose you. ".

"American Animals". Highly recommend it. It's about an art heist that I had never heard about.

Yes, all Norwegian movies. The government financed 1/3 of The Wave.

Gone with the Wind

Saw this with my mother and sisters decades ago when we were very young ladies.

The Company Men (2010)

Drama about a mass layoff @ a shipbuilding division.. how it emotionally & financially affected it's white collar employees. Tommy Lee Jones & Ben Affleck.

IDK why this doesn't catch my interest. I do love the cast!

To All the Boys I've Loved Before - a made-for-Netflix movie. Teen rom-com based on a YA book series from a few years ago. Very light and fluffy, and enjoyable movie.
