The last movie I saw was Alita Battle Angel, which was good but the last really really really good movie that I saw was The Dallas Buyers Club. I've never thought much of Matt Mchoughnhey but damn, really really good story and Jared Leto (one of my favorite actors) did a magnificent job.

"Salt"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944835/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
I wasn't too impress with it. Sort of like "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" meets "Beyond Borders" and the second Underworld movie........badly.

Things are too predictable from either the inside or the out. There may be a small twist, surprise in the story and there is certainly a big surprise in the production in that the movie doesn't complete itself. The movie can't even get its facts straights for Qom is the equivalent of Mecca, not Tehran.

It starts off decent but very quickly becomes ho-hum.

Green Book - loved it. A bit predictable but an interesting historical drama. Never knew what a "sundown" town was. Never knew Nat King Cole was attacked in Birmingham either. The 2 leads are magnificent. Viggo Mortensen played an Italian to perfection. I always enjoyed Mahershala Ali, he was awesome in House of Cards.

The Man Who Knew Infinity (Netflix)

The story of the life and academic career of the pioneer Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan, and his friendship with his mentor, Professor G.H. Hardy.

Storyline - In the 1910s, Srinivasa Ramanujan is a man of boundless intelligence that even the abject poverty of his home in Madras, India, cannot crush. Eventually, his stellar intelligence in mathematics and his boundless confidence in both attract the attention of the noted British mathematics professor, G.H. Hardy, who invites him to further develop his computations at Trinity College at Cambridge.

I have only just started watching this but so far, I'm in to the end. I predict it will be exhilarating, sad and bittersweet all at once.
