Death Wish (2018) library dvd, 3/10. Hokey plot, fat lipped actresses. What's to like?

Alita: Battle Angel. It was ok. I liked the beginning and the core story, but I didn't care much for the "love story", or the whole thing with Nova and his minions. So, I give it a 7/10.

“The Lighthorsemen” 1987 Simon Wincer WWI drama about the Australian light cavalry
On YouTube—only streaming platform I could find
We saw it first run in theater and while the action sequences are still great it didn’t hold up quite as well as say “Galipoli”
Seeing the documentary about WWI recently has given me interest in reviewing some previous WWI films we have seen

For something that is an individual sport, it took tremendous amount of manpower to make it possible
Some great photography

The new movie on HBO last night was Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It's a pretty good popcorn flick with plenty of action but the twist at the end seems especially timely when you consider real world current events.

China’s CRISPR twins might have had their brains inadvertently enhanced

Boy—that is something that should never happen/gene edit for brain enhancement
