I just saw " Captain America". it was better than I thought it would be and I'd give it 3 stars( barely). It had its good comic moments and was a flashy representation of the time period with the artwork and style.
The acting and characters were good. It took some liberties with The Howling Commandos, Nick Fury was nowhere to be seen and they added some and lost others. Then they had Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury in the future which was pretty weak.
It was better than Iron Man and interestingly Tony Stark's Grandfather was more interesting and fun than Tony Stark.

The Shawshank Redemption. I had never seen it before, and it was excellent. Great ending.

(I swear, the actor who plays warden looks just like John Boehner! It was quite distracting!)

I just watched "Soul Surfer". Wow, what a great movie! It was an interesting story, it had great acting by the entire cast, and was very inspirational.

The Horseman. An extremely brutal, violent Australian movie from 2008. Can't really recommend it unless you have a strong stomach, but it sure wasn't boring.
