I saw Drive last weekend. It was pretty bad ass, particularly when Ryan stomped the guy in the elevator to death. Jesus that was gruesome. I thought I rented Punisher: War Zone by mistake.

Yeah, I loved it. I don't have a problem with it being gruesomely violent but I don't know how anyone could say it wasn't. I haven't seen that many flicks where you actually see some dude's face fall apart/collapse.
Toxic Avenger and Saving Private Ryan are the only two that come to mind, although I am sure there are others.
