Rush Hour - very 'blah' and I have low standards when it comes to Chris Rock and Jackie Chan. I have no desire to see the sequels but...

Silver Linings Playbook is alright. I just don't see why it got the Oscar hype that it did. It's basically your regular old formulaic romantic comedy. The only difference is the two lead characters have pronounced emotional disorders (I say pronounced because even people considered normal have emotional disorders, imo).

The TV Sci-Fi series Continuum back on again with season 2! Great TV series show, if you are a sci-fi buff!

Watched 2008's RocknRolla with Gerard Butler & Tom Wilkinson this weekend. If you love Guy Ritchie films, as we do, you'll love it. In typical Ritchie fashion it is fast paced, interesting cinematography, clever dialogue, grit mixed with a sense of humor, great plot & writing, better acting than most films, cool soundtrack & just enough action to keep the plot moving, but not overtake the storyline. It's got Russian mobsters, British gangsters, crafty addicts, a rock star, Tom Hardy & Jeremy Pivin in smaller roles, some great character actors, gorgeous Thandie Newton & more gorgeous Butler.

We've seen it before, but after so many disappointing movies lately, we just wanted to see something we'd be sure to enjoy.

5* out of 5!

That's a good one.

Went to see Now You See Me last night. I enjoyed it, but the problem with movies centered on magic is that you're LOOKING for the deception, the twist, suspecting everyone and everything. And that means that the climax is often anticlimactic. But I did enjoy it. I'd give it a B.

Robert Redford's latest directorial effort, 'The Company You Keep' which was very good.
