Finally Star Trek Into Darkness. It was entertaining but thank goodness we did not waste any money watching it in a cinema.

American Hustle. Absolutely awful, overrated, bad acting (except Bale) and Jennifer Lawrence was cringe worthy.

Frozen with the granddaughter. It was OK. Some cute parts but nothing great.

In the past week, I've seen The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Tim's Vermeer. Two thumbs up for both.

Now, Tim's Vermeer you will probably only be able to see in an indie theater...too bad for many movie-goers, as it's a terrific movie.

Dallas Buyers Club....It was a good movie! Matthew McConaughey definitely deserved the Oscar for best actor. Best performance of his career by far. Jared Leto deserved his best supporting actor Oscar as well.

Divergent. I liked it better than Hunger Games. Alot more action and minimal teen romance scenes. Kate Winslet as a platinum blonde.

I haven't read the book yet, but I heard the movie was close. I can imagine how much more the book would go into character development of the supporting characters. this was a great story. Futuristic study into potential societal make-up......

We watched the second season of Sherlock. Loved it. Great great acting!

This weekend we were lazy and spend a lot of our time on the sofa watching movies: Star Trek and Star Trek into Darkness. Much better than expected. Quite entertaining.

"Blue Jasmine" and "Flight."

Cate Blanchett's, performance was good but the movie was just so - so IMO.

Denzel Washington, was better then I thought he would be in this movie. The movie was pretty good.
