For all the hype World War Z got I thought it was a loaded piece of crap. Brad couldn't even redeem it. Between surviving a plunging 30,000 air plane crash, then walked like 30 miles, impaled no less dragging a friend along. Then injects just the right serum while being locked in that room . Not to mention the constant inconsistencies in the movie I could barely keep my eyes open through the ridiculousness. Don't get me wrong I know anything is possible in movies but this movie had senarios that repeatedly defied the odds to the point of absurdity

I've just watched 'Saving Mister Banks' on DVD. I really enjoyed it. It was a completely different kind of movie than I expected.

Can't say I loved the movie (we bought it for $5 from the Wally-world bargain bin) but we gave it a whirl solely because of the cast.

With regard to Jennifer Lawrence - that young lady is exceptional. At age 24 she has more breadth and depth as an actor than many achieve in a lifetime. Both DH and I agree that she could well be the next Meryl Streep.

Re: Christian Bale, he was good too, but my favorite role he's played is in The Flowers of War. Has anyone see it?

Mahrie.

Watched Tom Cruise in Groundhog Day. Was okay but don't remember it being as violent.

Oh wait, they renamed it to Edge of Tomorrow. Still it was Groundhog day all over.
