I saw Love Is Strange this past week. Great performances by John Lithgow and Alfred Molina. I highly recommend.

The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh (2012) - IMDb

Quote:
An antiques collector inherits a house from his estranged mother only to discover that she had been living in a shrine devoted to a mysterious cult. Soon, he comes to suspect that his mother's oppressive spirit still lingers within her home and is using items in the house to contact him with an urgent message.
First time that I have been a little scared (goose bumps) in a very long time. This movie has been described as a cerebral horror story and it's spot on. The ending is a bit cryptic.

Dallas Buyers Club with Matthew McConaughey. I just found out (while Googling his name in order to spell it correctly here, LOL) that he won the Best Actor Oscar for this movie this year. Way to go, Matt! The movie is as real as it gets. Who'd have thunk that TRUTH would win for a change, eh? I can't recommend it highly enough.

Mahrie.

The Empty Hours (2013)

A simple, slow-moving but very enjoyable story.
