yes--and frankly I can't agree with Emma Stone's nomination--though Amy Ryan playing her mom actually gave more nuanced performance
Keaton was strong although lot of it just relied on him throwing **** around
but thought the entire movie depended more on technique (the long, continuous shots) like "Boyhood" did--
more technique than actual substance...

Just watched The Tale of The Princess Kaguya for the second. Good lord, I can't believe this didn't win an Oscar tonight. Pretty well makes me question the academy's judgement in general.

Saw 'Dead Man' ...a 'western' but hey not like your John Ford evocations!...Depp plays the 'dead man'...a great unconventional film by Jim Jarmusch ...probably one if the last independent film makers
