About "Hercules and the Captive Women", I watched it a second time (really wasn't paying attention the first time) and it's not such a bad flick, despite the low quality of transfer technology. It's not earth shattering but it meets my basic qualification of a diversion one can get lost in for 90 minutes or so.

You may have read my previous post about seeing this movie. I wish I could see it again, but it's only playing at one local independent theater 'til Thursday.

I was thinking about buying the book, but your post has sealed the deal. I'm headed over to my local (independent) bookstore to pick up a copy. Thank you for your recommendation.

Spotlight (2015)
Really good movie, if a tad bit boring. But interesting subject matter, about the Catholic priest scandal of the early 2000s.

At least use a bloody smiley rating system:

= Awesome/Recommended

= Decent/I liked it.

= Meh/So-so

= Waste of Time/Avoid it
