The trailer on the official site hints of sci fi but I can't really tell. Anybody know?

Difficult to tell, plus they obviously haven't sent it to reviewers yet, so there isn't much besides the trailer available. Typically it is a very bad dign when they don't send it to reviewers - usually it means it is an awful film

I heard on the radio this morning that it is a thriller. A detective investigates a murder before the years first storm hits. Something like that I suppose.

In the case of movies without reviews prior to opening; NO NEWS means stay away!

September is often a "dumping ground" for stuff that often should not have been green-lighted.

Truly awful - wasn't my idea to see it, but it was awful - just poorly done.

I saw it today. I have seen much worse movies. It wasn't great but I enjoyed it for what it was. A movie about murder at some sort of station in Antartica. I'd call it a drama not Sci-fi
