I can't remember to much about the film but I think it was made in the 80's or early 90's. All I can remember is this old man has collects books or some kind of art or treasures. There is this green alcohol or some kinda of drink in the library of his home. There was also something about this statue of a cat and I think it talks to him. Twards the end of the movie this women gets trapped in some underground tomb by his house. she kinda looks like the girl from Wayne's World. I thought the title might have andrew or argonaut in it but I could be wrong. Thanks for the help.

no but thanks. I have been trying to find this movie title forever and can not think of it. The title could have the word argonaut in it but I could be way off. It's not Jason and the Argonauts. The statue is a egyptian cat statue.

More about the movie I think the man likes to keep to himself. This lady comes over though. At one point he is trying to reach for the green alcohol on the top of a book shelf and falls.

I am thinking the green alcohol was probably absinthe. Here is a list of movies that all have absinthe in them - perhaps you'll find the movie your looking for among them:

Thanks but none of those were it. I don't think it was a huge hit. Do you know how to find movies that have a egyptian cat statue it them. The cat either talked to him or he could hear the cats thoughts. Thanks again!

Thanks again but none of those either. The main character is an old man weighs probably around 250 lbs. He might be a writer. The woman stops by because I think she wants something. Later they find an underground tomb and I think she gets locked in it at the end. If you google egyptian cat statue you can see what the statue looks like. Thanks again!!
