We LOVE Christmas Vacation, in particular, and watch it every Christmas. So many great quotes & moments from that movie.

"The little ones aren't blinking, Clark"

"Thanks for noticing, Dad"

"Clark, Audrey is frozen from the waist down!"

"It's all part of the experience, honey!"

And then, of course, there's the whole Cousin Eddie character and Uncle Lewis & Aunt Bethany.

I laughed just reading this.

We watch this one every Christmas also... sometimes more than once.

Audrey: "So! Everybody does that."
Cousin: "Yeah, but daddy says I'm the best."

I think Vegas Vacation is underrated. They rarely show it on tv. As for the original, this is the line that makes me laugh the most:

Clark: "Imagine if you drove all the way to Florida and it was closed"
Walley: "Oh, they don't close Florida, Clark."

"Poor little fella probably kept up with you for the first mile or two."

Saw the first one in the theater when it first came out...absolutely hilarious. Loved the scene when the camera pans around the car in the evening showing everyone sleeping...including Clark, the driver. The screeching, spinning parking into the motel. "We're here!" "Clark, you're soaking wet!"

I hated European vacation. Just too trashy, too much trying to re-hash the first one.

Loved Christmas Vacation and thought parts of Las Vegas Vacation where great.

Liked Eddie cooking out on the rocks. One of my favorite parts is so...ridiculously...stupid that it just cracks me up. When Eddie and Clark go to the casino that Eddie says Clark just can't lose in...games like rock, paper, scissor and Guess Which Hand? THAT was funny.

Default Clark Griswold - "a genius with food additives"

The fact that Clark Griswold works in "food additives" is an inside joke on you, the unassuming masses.

The first one which I call "Summer Vacation" and Christmas are the best. I also liked Vegas but I hated Europe.

These movies are all classics although some of them are better than the others. My favorite is xmas vacation. Chevy chase really makes the movies hilarious. He made these in the his good days, you know..when he was on drugs. After he gave up drugs his comedy was not as funny IMO
