The Orphan was directed by a Catalan guy so... Happy you liked it

I don't think I'll be seeing it though. Isn't it just more of the same? I love horror movies but there have been so many of them on cinemas lately that's it's all becoming extra-predictable.

HOw cute was the deaf girl?

And noela to answer your question. Yes and no. Yes I think its more of the same, many people refer to it as a B-movie. However, I barely ever watch horror movies so I wouldnt know. And no, its not predictable. The movie has a terrific twist ending that you wont see coming.

Did you like movies "Let the Right One In" and "Drag Me to Hell"? I think this is somewhat similar.

Cool dishes. Overall the home used in the movie was marvelous. Very chic.

Orpan was one of the best flicks I have seen in a while. Watched it last night and after successfully avoiding any spoilers I was blown away by the twist. And I am usually pretty good about guessing those! And the kids, especially the two little girls, were amazing. The one who played Esther should have gotten an Academy Award nom or something because her performance was better than some of the adult actresses who have been nominated in past years.
