Great movie. It is right up there with "The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming".

It's funny at some points, but is too long, too many famous actors and needless characters, and it mostly makes no logical sense... just like Planet of the Apes, 2001, Star Wars, Zardos, all James Bond films.

Absolutely perfect!!!! I never tire of it. You will never see such an amazing group of actors in one movie like that now. Just hysterical.

Have seen that movie at least 6 times, the story line, the cast, absolutely awesome and funny as heck...

Especially Ethel Merman, Spencer Tracy and Buddy Hackett.

Still the parts with Buster Keaton never made it on the finished film , as His name is in the credits but his face never appears even in the newer version on DVD , as His part was cut out and lost .......... Heard that they asked Stan Laurel to come on the film but he reclined because Hardy was passed on and Stan said He looked old ......

This is my husbands all time favorite movie. He has the DVD and still watches it whenever it's on. I get a little irritated at some of the scenes, but it makes him happy.

My personal favorite funny movies are My Fellow Americans and Murder by Death.

Ive always liked this movie, lots of great street scenes and stunts , driving down the old roads from the era that are not usually shown in other movies, almost like a time machine

sometimes I watch old movies like this just to go back in time, the old hardware store scene, the Chinese laundry, the old gas station scene, the old road side bill board advertising signs, etc.

You just dont see stuff like that in other movies, this movie really captured the nostalgia of the early 1960's

the older model cars used in the movie, and all filmed in color, plus the great airplane flying scenes with Micky Rooney

I thought it had great cinematography and filming locations, lots of wide angle panoramic views, I liked the scene when they drove the car down a long steep road
