Funny. I was merely a child (in the 80's) when I saw Alfred The Great once on TV (starring David Hemmings as Alfred, Michael York as a Viking king and warrior). I had a huge crush on Michael York, his passion, his lack of manners, his beard lol... Then shortly afterwards I saw him in Cabaret all polite and squeaky clean and yet again I thought he was so gorgeous as well, although I missed the wild looks somewhat *sigh*.

Now as an adult I would say someone else though, although who specifically it varies. I'm fancying Alessandro Nivola (but only in his Coco Before Chanel role) a lot today.

It is hard to say because handsome is a relative concept.
However....SEXY is universal. I'll go with Johnny Depp.
