Help with movie in 1960's w/Green monkey (family, actor, watch)

I used to watch a movie yearly in Florida. It was about an alien family with the power to disappear when they hold their breathe. It was funny. It had no violence or swearing. The family had a green monkey that they brought from their home planet.

The government was after them. The movie had to be playing in the late 1960's to 1970's. I thought it was a disney movie. It isn't. The main alien actor was around 5 and a half feet tall, with stunning eyes.

Fluffy was played around the same time down there. Fluffy was a comady about a pet lion with Tony Randall.
