I can't think of an individual favorite movie, (hey, it's early!), but Sean Connery is still "007", to me. But, I also liked Pierce Brosnan. And, Daniel Craig was pretty darn good. As far as I'm concerned, you can write off all the other actors. If it's not one of these three, they aren't James Bond!
I was shocked at how excellent "Casino Royale" was. Alas, a REAL Bond movie: showcased as well you can have the far better stunts and special effects, yet still keep the aura of what "was". I did enjoy alot of the Roger Moore flicks, especially "For Your Eyes Only", which I still rate number one. Connery's flicks were consistently good and obviously he is the true Bond.
Timothy Dalton was plain awful. Pierce Bronsan was way better than I expected, unfortunately I couldn't sit though half the flicks he was in. In fact, I didn't bother with the recent movie w/ Halle Berry in it until I caught bits and pieces a few weeks ago on TV while channel surfing. No regrets: it bore more a semblance to a Van Diesel movie than a Bond movie. Thank god for "Casino Royale": the Dalton & Bronsan movies had "evolved" to child's play, as both the stunts and special effects were embarassing.
After that... Goldfinger, Dr. No, Thunderball, and the rest of the Connery flicks. The only Roger Moore one I enjoy rewatching is For Your Eyes Only. I enjoyed most of the Brosnan films, but honestly they all kind of run together in my mind.
Never saw the Lazenby Bond. I thought Dalton was a decent Bond, but the scripts for those films were so bad. First time I was bored in a Bond film.
I would say YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (1967) Best of the 007s I have ever seen!
