This thread was inspired by fellow CD member quiet walker and his thread about Julia Childs.

How many would love for Hollywood to make a film about another famous cook, Justin Wilson?

"OOOoooohhh don't that be good!" - Justin Wilson

Haha, I remember Justin Wilson. My mother met him a couple of times at his book signings. I have fond memories of watching him cook and tell stories in his Louisiana cajun accent.

My mother and I would definitely watch it if they made a movie of it.

Thumbs up Me, too

I gar-on-tee!! hee-heee!!

I love Justin Wilson! Used to watch his show every weekend on PBS. I met him once when he showed up at a place I used to work, he was a guest speaker for a convention or seminar, if I remember correctly. In person, he was exactly like he was on TV, red suspenders and all. Such a sweet man. But, I can't think of any actor who could play him...well, maybe Robert Duvall.

I'm a northerner so I've never heard of him but I enjoyed the video.
Honestly though in the first few seconds I thought it was some sort of joke and was really Robin Williams doing some skit I'd never heard of.
So I think Robin Williams could definately do the part. Not that they could afford or get im but I think he would really work without having having to try.

Good call!

I'm still waiting for biopics of "The Two Fat Ladies", Escoffier, and Carême(I don't see why "Cooking for Kings" couldn't be made into a movie ?).

Love to cook, love to watch people cook.

Because not everyone has heard of Justin Wilson. Even people who don't cook know who JC is. Same reason there will be a Rachel Ray movie before there is an Anthony Bourdain movie.

What a great pick!! He would be perfect. Old school, I loved watching Justin Wilson's show after school, and listening to his wonderful stories. He was on here in Washington DC along with Martin Yan (Yan Can Cook) and Graham Kerr (The Galloping Gourmet)
