I haven't seen it but I want to check it out. I hope it's not like the Ring or those supposedly 'scary' horror films.

It's not like The Ring (that movie made it hard for me to sleep). The Orphan is a good movie with a good plot. It's really twisted.

I like this movie a lot and own it on blu-ray. My friends give me crap because they hated it but I don't care, good movie and good twist at the end.

I didn't find it all that scary. It did have an original twist but as far as being scary I didn't see it. Especially the playground scene. Talk about a laughable set up for a shock. "Oh no, kids are on the jungle gym! Now they came around the corner! Look, the swing set chains are...SWINGING!!!"

A decent suspense oriented horror flick unlike Ring which was more creepy horror flick.
The scene where the creepy looking chick started coming out of the TV in that stop-motion like moves, I flinched and moved my head back a few inches. I felt like a scared little girl for a few days and had to sit down when using the bathroom....

Then started the see the same make-up and special effects in other Japanese horror flicks like Grudge, etc. and it got real old real quick.
You wanna see another freaky Japanese horror movie, check out Audition.
