Robert Downey Jr. does a great job at his role, I can't name one other person who would've done a better job.
I hope this is one of the rare few movies that is more successful in it's sequels. Like how Godfather II was better than the already incredible Godfather I. But Godfather III ruined it, and same thing for the Spider Man trilogy.
I just saw the movie, "Kick Ass" today, it was a very good movie too!
Iron Man 2 is going to be the biggest movie of the summer. May even be the biggest movie of the year.
The reason the first film did so well and the sequel is expected to do even better is that unlike many of the super-hero/action flicks, lots of women loved the movie. It wasn’t just 12-year old boys (of all ages) going to see it. For whatever reasons, the Iron Man films have really struck a chord with the ladies, and it shows in ticket sales.
Some industry prognosticators are even saying Iron Man 2 is going to break The Dark Knight records.
