feel they have a chance in hooking up with a handsome NBA player because Queen Latifah was able to do it by being her REAL self-lol Which means that all the dating sites will continue to stay in business because all big women now will have HIGHER EXPECTATIONS after watching this movie.

I think Queen Latifah is a beautiful, attractive woman. She's a big woman and she is gorgeous.
Before you start labeling me, I'll just say that the outward appearance of a person does not define the person's appeal...
You can be a handsome man and if you have an ugly heart, what good are your "good looks"?

She's 5'10....unless she weights 100 lbs like Nicole Kidman, she'll always be considered 'large' regardless of her weight.
I'm 6' tall and even when I was 140 lbs (which, btw, my hip bones and ribs stuck out...it wasn't pretty) I still got made fun of for being fat.
She stays active and eats well and I think she's beautiful.

This movie doesn't sound so far-fetched...FYI, most black men like their women with some extra padding, thick, junk in the trunk, etc.

From the guy who thinks he is 'confident' making fun of himself for being fat, you have a lot of nerve insulting fat women.
Confidence is not just for men...
Do you really feel 'fat women' can't find great guys? (For the record, do NBA guys make great boyfriends or husbands?). Queen L is lovely. You'd be lucky to wind up with a 'fattie' like her but that's not likely.

Ok I actually see TV Sports guy point. Many sports stars will pick skinny wives and girlfriends not woman with curves. Now that being said I do think Queen Latifah is an attractive woman although I wouldn't be against her taking off a few pounds, but, she certainly doesn't need to worry about anything.  |
