Gladiator - opening battle scene, snow falling: "Unleash hell!"

Saving Private Ryan - after the prologue at the cemetery, the Omaha beach landing

Reservior Dogs - argument around the diner table about Madonna and tipping

Children of Men - Clive Owen walking with a cup of coffee down a London street, and suddenly a bomb explodes

The hat blowing in the wind in Miller's Crossing

Goodfellas "As far back as I can remember.... I always wanted to be a gangster." With the flash-forward of the three finishing off Billy Batts in the trunk of the car.

Rocky III (I think that's the right one, it's been awhile) where they show snippets of Rocky's title defenses and Clubber Lang's rise to prominence.

star wars when princess leia's ship goes by and then darth vaders imperial ship flies over your head, i was 8 at the time and it was incredible.

"While You Were Sleeping", shots of Chi-Town, and the skating rink scene cracks me up every time LOL.

I liked the opening sequence in Jerry Maguire.

The plane scene in Superman Returns rocked but I guess that's not an opening sequence.

The carrier flight ops scenes that open "Top Gun" is probably my favorite opening scene. Even as a USAF maintainer, the Tomcat will still be one of my favorite aircraft...
