Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a decline in music videos on TV?

It seems I rarely see music videos on TV nowdays(or maybe I'am too busy). BET and MTV seem to show fewer videos compared to the 80's and 90's. What happened to Rapcity? MTV's regular channel seems to mainly show reality type shows. Have music videos reached the point to where they just aren't as cool has they were in the 80's and 90's?

Music videos are still around, lots of people watch them. It's just moved from MTV to Youtube, that's all. Most music channels still show music videos during a certain time of the day/night. MTV networks show all theirs between the hours of 3am and 11am, or so it seems.

I think some country musicians are still into videos. Reba McEntire used to make really elaborate videos, bordering on being short films, but I think she moved on to actual acting. (Which, IMO, she was initially awful at but I hear she got better)

I was gonna add that I've noticed that I actually watch more music videos on youtube than I do on TV now. Most of them are usually older videos though. I wonder if the expansion of the internet and computer use has affected the viewership for TV music videos because of the convience of finding any video old or new that you want to see? I mean there are just so many videos to be found on the internet that I guess I don't bother with watching them on TV.
