I must have listened to that tune, Lonely, hundreds of times since I first stumbled upon it years ago. It is really nice, but one can almost feel the loneliness and sadness. I suppose that's why it was used on Nip Tuck.

Nip/Tuck was the first place I heard "Lonely". It is a sad song!
