I don't think I'd call QSMS a "2nd Tier" group. They were very well known at the time and played frequently with the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane out in San Francisco.

Alice Cooper with DOA backup
Black Sabbath (ozzie with them)
Jethro Tull
Rod Stewart (he is quite short)
Rolling Stones (dallas football field)
David Alan Coe (Cains Ballroom Tulsa)
George Harrison
Black Oak Akansas

Went to a three day festival in Sedalia, Missouri. I didn't go down to where they were playing. There was a mob of people there. It was hot, hot, hot and the stores closed i guess they were out of everything.
There may be others, right now I can't think of any more

Wow, too many to gat an accurate count. In the 90's I was going to 3 or 4 shows a week. (I worked for a record label and managed record stores then) I would guess I'm well over 1000 at this point.

Rage Against The Machine has been the best.

David Lee Roth was by far the worst.

Too many to name. Plus in the next week will be adding Chicago/EWF (again), Deep Purple (again), and Steely Dan (again).

Elvis Costello is opening for Steely Dan and against all odds, it will be my first time to see him in concert.
