I understand what you are saying there. Almost all media is controlled by just 6 companies, and they decide what music we play, what shows we see, etc. And that's why the same songs play over and over and we get almost no exposure to anything outside of the usual crap poppy nonsense.

Radio stations will only play the same songe people are familiar with, never anything new.
