In some ways, this is the greatest album ever made.
I prefer Rust Never Sleeps from 79 and Freedom from 89 or 90. If Freedom is from 1990, then it also qualifies. I think it is. I am having flashbacks of blasting it while driving down the North Philly Streets on the way to Center City for a night of debauchery. All the thugs shook their heads in disapproval.
Duran Duran (Wedding Album) - Duran Duran
Frogstomp - Silverchair (I actually like the singles from Neon Ballroom better but I never had a copy of the album so I have to stick with Frogstomp)
MCMXC a.D. - Enigma
Alisha Rules the World - Alisha's Attic
Pieces of You - Jewel
Kill Uncle - Morrissey
Metallica (The Black Album) - Metallica
Dookie - Green Day
(What's the Story) Morning Glory - Oasis
What??? Tomorrow hands down is the best single by Silverchair. Pure Massacre follows it.
You're probably right, I love those songs too, it's just hard for me to go past Ana's Song (open fire) from Neon Ballroom because it was so deeply personal for Daniel Johns (he suffered from anorexia). I haven't heard all of NB though which is why I said Frogstomp because we are talking 90s albums here and my friends and I spent a lot of time in smoke
() filled rooms listening to that album.
You'll probably be REALLY offended if I tell you that I think that Young Modern (2007) is a masterpiece Some people wanted them to be forever grunge and couldn't understand why they experimented with other sounds, I applaud it, diversity and the ability to evolve shows talent imo.
