Maria Maria, by Carlos Santana....though I'd say locally it was Graduation by Vitamin C because it was always the top song on the "it" radio station that entire spring!

I graduated in March of 94 and the two songs that were number one during that month were:

I saw the sign by Ace of Base and I Swear by All 4 One
Eeeek!

Hero by Mariah Carey was sung at our graduation ceremony.

I graduated in 2000 Limp Bizkit was huge at the time for some reason gen X and early gen Y had alot pent up angst. we also had rage against the machine in which I still listen too to this day but not so much for limp bizkit which was on the radio all time back then.

sucks the number #1 song was was a limp bizkit song
