There is this Finnish band called Teräsbetoni. And, they play Battle Metal. It's actually very entertaining listening to them sing.

I have a few Spanish cds. I don't understand everything that's being sung, but I love the way the songs sound.

Cajun (French, bands like Beausoliel, etc)

Ramstein (German band, this is more my kid's taste, but I like some of their stuff)

Manu Chao (I re-discovered this guy a couple years ago. He sings in all sorts of languages, including the occasional English. I knew of his band Hot Pants in the 80's, but did not figure out that this is who he was until recently.)

there is always Matisyahu, as well--he throws in the occasional Hebrew and Yiddish

My favorite non-english song and video

YouTube - Ahiska iz NY Syracuse

Too bad you'll never see it on MTV. IMO, its much better than most of the popular music out today.

The only reason I found that video in the first place is that it has "Syracuse" in the title. I'm always doing searches on youtube for Syracuse related videos.

Both Sting and Gloria Estefan have done albums in Spanish. On Nada Como El Sol, Sting also has a song or two in Portuguese.

And let's not forget, 99 Luftballoons hit #1 on the US charts...the English translation didn't fare as well.

I listen to rock, alternative, electronic, and pop in Japanese, French, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, German, Italian, Turkish.

Not really keen on each of the traditional musics of each country, no offense.
