I voted for classic rock because it probably has the most plays over time but I also like jazz, folk, soul, electro/house/techno, and some indie/alternative (very hit or miss, especially nowadays).
What exactly is alternative? This category has always puzzled me. I would think alternative would be what you listen to when you don't choose rock, country, jazz or anything else.
I'm not really sure I have a favorite. I put "other" because I really like jazz, folk, and Celtic none of which are listed. I also like some Indie-pop and non-Celtic World Music as well as the aforementioned Celtic. Like South Africa's had some good danceable music and Brazil has some real pleasant stuff. I like some Chinese instrumental stuff, not as big into their singing. Japanese singing is okay by me and there's some J-pop that's not bad.
Of the ones listed I guess I like R&B and Classic Rock. Although with R&B I like more "classic" R&B, some of which might be termed "Soul." Like Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, some Stevie Wonder, etc. Not so much the R&B of today.
