So how does everybody feel about " The Eagles & Van Halen " Reunion? I know for sure the Eagles have a new CD due out soon, i'm not sure about Van Halen. But i heard both bands will tour in 2008.

Out of the two i would say the Eagles are more likley to put on a better quality concert & better CD.

As far as Van Halen I dont think David Lee Roth can hit the proper notes any more, we shall see though.

I will likely buy both CD's.

For me it is a bit of a yawner.

The last time I bought Eagles tickets, the band broke up (drugs, ego, jealousies, etc) and my tickets were no good but I never got a refund because I was out of the country during that time.
So I suppose I have a grudge. Plus I find Don Henley, who is an excellent songwriter, a bit arrogant. (However, I have always adored both Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit--have seen Schmit live in concert.)

Eddie Van Halen has had a tough time in recent years.
I agree with you about Roth's voice.

I wish them all well but I doubt that I would pay money to see them, especially with concert prices these days.

The Eagles have been touring since 94, not much a a reunion anymore, though the album due this month will be the first full length one since the band broke up long ago.

Not interested in the Eagles but I've seen David Lee Roth several times with Van Halen in addition to Sammy Hagar & it was all good. DLR may not sing as well as he once did but he still can entertain. It's funny when I saw him in the 80's he was doing splits in the air off a tall amp. and now he jumps off a small box.

Van Halen is THE most over-rated rock band of all time. No contest.
