What a bombshell by reading this as i just got home as i haven't heard anything at all on the news at work today. I loved Quiet Riot as they were part of the early 80's Hairbands metal scene along with Ozzy,Twisted Sister and Ratt that got me hooked on that style of music.

I agree, I have a lot of memories tied up in my 80's "teen years" and Quiet Riot. I was shocked earlier today when I saw it after it was first posted on msnbc.
I know Kevin was 52 but he really looked bad and very old looking in his face. He looked 60ish as i beleive all that Heroin and other illegal crud he was shooting up etc..really destroyed his body. I seen Vince Neil (Motley Crue) reciently on the tube and he looked like he's close to 300 lbs.
