I think he's one of the better somewhat pop artists to come out in quite a while.

He reminded me of Jason Mraz. Lyric genius, good voice, good musician. I personally like his choice of music, but not the melodramatic and overplayed "Thinking Out Loud".

I really, really enjoy Sheeran. My favorite songs of his are Fault in Our Stars, Give me Love, and my favorite, Little Bird...

I think his music is nothing but product. It's musical pulp fiction.

Lyrical genius? Really? That kind of praise should be reserved for those that have earned it. Musicians like Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohan.

If Sheeran is a lyrical genius then J.K. Rowlings is a Pulitzer Prize winning author.

He's seriously talented, & pretty amazing live.....
Don't underestimate him, just because he's not the typical talentless hack newcomer.
He's not only got a beautiful voice, but can really play the guitar.

I like his music and think he'll get better with time. I wouldn't say he's a musical genius, but definitely better than some of his peers, and, he doesn't annoy me like the others do.
