Its all about taste & opinions, but my pick is Metal easy! I'm actually curious to hear the new upcoming cd's in 2008 from Dokken, Whitesnake & Dio. I believe Iron Maiden also has a new CD coming out.
this is driving me crazy...I remember watching a while back on Vh1 i believe some interview with a hair metal musician and he said something along the lines of "we used to go to shows to have fun and get away form our ****ty lives and then in the 90s all these depressing bands came out.." or something like that. but i cant remember who said it or exactly what he said. does anyone know?
Which kind of music do you like better between hair metal or grunge? Me I much prefer hair metal cause their music was alot of fun and they had alot of cool music videos and the people of the band appeared to be having a good time on the music videos.
Grunge on the other hand is way too depressing and sad for me and I remember feeling really sad that the grunge bands were huge and not the hair metal bands, that was around the time when I've lost interest in the songs that were on the Top 40 during that time.
Neither - I like 80's new wave and punk. But if I have to choose, I guess it would be hair metal.
Both have great qualities but I'm a grunge girl! Still love my Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell and Screaming Trees and I can go on and on and ooonnnnnnn........
Grunge all the way! Especially Post-Grunge! Singers and bands like Avril Lavigne, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down, you know, they're all Post-Grunge.
