I was a fan of Genesis during their 'progressive' period, with Peter Gabriel, till 1975.
I bought their 4th album- 'Foxtrot' in 1972- with the highly atmospheric 'Watcher of the Skies' and the epic 'Suppers Ready'

Aways enjoyed them- even after Gabriel left. The albums 'Trick of the Tail', 'Wind and Wuthering' & 'And then there Where three' all where excellent from the mid to late 70s, with Phil Collins as lead singer.

Hi Skytrekker! Solid choice on these guys! This is another HOF worthy band and they're approaching 40 years as a group. I became aware of them with Selling England By The Pound, from early '73. It took me a little while to get used to the costume stuff but the music was consistently good. Wind and Wuthering and Trespass are good as well. Got on a big British progressive kick around late '71 while discovering King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Barclay James Harvest, and then also Genesis. Still goes.

I`m a prog fan,,How could I not be?? I didn`t post until now because I was waiting for a Gabriel post,,,I could be miles out of step but Collins did nothing for me. The late 70s early 80s [3 albums] stuff stands out, and thats how they redeemed themselves for me..Just!!
