Do artists get any royalties or residuals when you play one of their songs from your iTunes account? Or do they even track play counts across the iTunes network?
The reason I ask is that I no longer want anyone that owns the rights to Michael Jackson's music to gain anything, after having watched Leaving Neverland. If there is that possibility, I will delete them from my iTunes now and not take a chance it could ever happen during shuffle listening.
