When I was a kid it was Mickey by Toni Basil. Then the 90's brought us Spice Girls and Wannabe.It's been over 20 years and I haven't heard anything worse. Fingers crossed! Maybe it's not possible to write a worse song?
It’s especially sad for a lot of reasons. One, I really felt that the lyrics were kinda mumbled in a lot of places, it felt unnecessarily sloppy, for example at the beginning. Second, the chorus was delivered like it was a really dramatic thing. It felt way too contrived. Third, I liked Sia in some other songs which really sounded nothing like this, and in fact count among my favs. More like this:
