I was a Lou Reed fan in high school (80's) and at age 19 a friend of mine played me the Velvet Underground and I just about fell out of my chair. I still remember hearing "Candy Says" for that first time....mind blowing.

That IS most certainly a mind-blowing song.

Way too young to ever see V.U. live but I did see Lou Reed live in the early 90's.
So was I. Too young I mean.VanMorrison was also a genius. Love your screen name.

I saw Lou a lot apart from the Velvets.
