LOVEBITES - Slayer? Exodus? DragonForce? - Females can do it just as well, if not better. (singers, favorite song)

I've been listening to metal for over 50 years. When I first heard The Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin in 1971 when I was 11, my metal journey began. I've listened to a lot of metal over the decades. If I had to pick a favorite sub genre it would be thrash with power right there too.
The music industry is rough. It takes a lot to be recognized, and many great musicians may be locally well known (country) but deserve more global recognition. Lovebites is one of those bands. I honestly could not have imagined that an all-female Japanese metal band could be this good. These are four of their songs which simply show how talented they are, each and every one of the band members. Sadly Miho, the bassist and co-founding member left the band last year, and after a hiatus, bassist auditions are in process.
I will be honest, if you don't rock out to these songs I don't think you're a metalhead. The first one is my favorite song by any band. I've only had two "favorite" songs in 5 decades, and that's Kashmir by Led Zeppelin and Ghost of Perdition by Opeth. Well, I now have only my third with The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath. All four of these songs are absolutely amazing IMO, and they have so many more great songs. Miyako and Midori are one of, if not the best guitar tandem I have ever heard in a band.
