If someone has the voice, looks, good songs, and luck on their side is it possible for one to become a famous singer at the age of 28 even if they currently don’t have a fan base?

I don't know. Ask someone like LeAnn Rimes who hit the big time when she was 13. Or Justin Bieber. He was 17 when his rocket took off. If you have everything you listed as qualities but no fan base, get a YT channel going or even that Chinese social media platform Tik-Tok. I hear it's a good place to become famous. Maybe even apply for America's Got Talent or The Voice.

I have no knowledge of the music business, but as HereOnMars points out, given all the recent changes in media options (with particularly emphasis on social media), who can say for sure what is possible? The old rules of the game no longer apply.

There is lady singer from the United Kingdom named Susan Boyle who turned on April 1st this year. Her first album was released in 2009 and so she was nowhere near 28 when she first started getting out there.

God bless you and Susan always!!!

^^^ I just realized that I forgot to include that lady's age. She is 61 now and so she was around 48 when her first album was released.

God bless you and Susan always!!!

Looking at my previous answer, I see I was making the case for people under the age of 28, not over. Good grief. My apologies. Some days, it's best to just stay off the internet.

The thing is, if a person had all of those qualities then why have they not already found fame if that is what they desire? The crucial ingredient is action, you have to do everything it takes and make it the focus of every day if that is what you truly want. It's not just about good looks or luck, sometimes it's not even about raw talent, it's about how much you really want it and how hard you are prepared to work to get it. Age is not really a factor, there are a million examples of older people finding fame and 28 is still relatively young.

What has really held this person back until they were 28 years old? If that question isn't addressed then the same thing will hold them back all of their life.

Back in the olden daze she haD to mail her fans invitations. She was with No Doubt back then.
