... to annoy your teenager? I know it's off topic, but, being a child of the 70s it's a little rough and I need some help. He has no problem with Led Zeppelin or the Who. He's okay with the Beatles and he's even fine with some disco (Bee Gees, etc.). He loves most of the classical I have, so I can't go there. He's okay with most jazz so even that's a problem. I have Hank Williams (senior) on right now and I haven't heard a peep out of him. What's left?

BTW - I'm doing this to try to drag his butt out of bed without physically pulling him out by his ankles

You might try Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. Loud enough and nobody can sleep through church bells and cannons.

Lids from two cooking pots. Or a lid and a pizza pan. Worked on my daughter.

, "Little Yellow Polka dot Bikini" , "Barbie world" by Aqua or the "Ketchup" song by "Las Ketchup". If those dreadful songs do not manage to make stand up in agony to get away from the noise then nothing will.....

Otherwise I would recommend Wagner's "Ride of the Walkyries" at full blast. More potent than any thrash metal ever written ! One of my favourites though, so it would not annoy me....

One last suggestion is for you to buy a really, really cheap battered violin and start playing to him . There is nothing like an out of tune badly played violin , it makes your eyes water .....
