I saw The Alarm in concert when they were the warmup band for U2 in the 80's.

Tony Carey - Fine, Fine Day.

I loved that song when I was younger. Hardly anyone remembers it.

How about "Desire" by Gene Loves Jezebel?

"Every Word Means No" by The Three O'Clock?

"80s" by Killing Joke - I bought the soundtrack LP to Weird Science just so I would have this song

I met The Alarm in an elevator in a hotel in Houston when I was a teenager. We could tell they were a band so we asked what their name was. In their British accent they said "The Alum."

Weeks later I heard of The Alarm and it finally dawned on me that The "Alum" were actually The Alarm. Missed opportunities...

I didn't know that these groups or bands were considered obscure until I moved to Texas. Growing up in Southern California and listening to KROQ, all of these songs were heard pretty much everywhere. While a song like "I Want Candy" may have been Bow Wow Wow's biggest "hit", it was far from being their best song. You Tube is a good source for hearing songs that we may have long forgotten and can't really buy anymore. (DontH8Me- yeah.. that was a good song. Nocera had a dance version of Claire Grogan (of Altered Images) type of voice).
