Does anyone remember this song? What are your thoughts about it? Doesn't matter to me whether you have heard it before, or not.

Certainly sounds familiar..probably something I heard in a skating rink in the 60's. I definitely recognize it!! Nice tune for the use I mentioned and others I'm sure! Gene Krupa well known of course! Would have been organ only in a rink!!

I could do without the organ but WOW what fantastic big band percussion! Loved seeing Cozy go to town on those drums - so controlled and so ebullient at the same time. Man he's got it all going on - technique, tempo, terrific swinging sounds! Great stuff - thanks for the link!

Sorry, I'm new. I guess it's not a good idea to start a thread about one song that most people have never heard of. Great song nonetheless.

Its kinda cool. Its seems like something they would use in some kind of neo-noir movie that takes places in the 50's or something.

The video of the drumming never seems to line up with the music, except at the end. The organ does though..

So that's how part II goes. I downloaded part I. It has less drum solo and less organ and more band. Cool tune.

Neo-noir 50s movie! Yes, I can see it. My dad loves this. I think I'll put both parts on the songs your mother or dad should know thread. Thanks to everyone on here!
