Bruce Springsteen: St Paul Civic Ctr 1984 (Show #3 of the Born in the USA tour)
The Jam: Wembley Arena Dec 1982 (their farewell tour)
Paul McCartney: Xcel Arena, St Paul (2003?) awesome show, Macca was in great form!
U2: Northrup Auditorium (u of M, Mpls) May 1983: the War Tour--Bono marched all around the auditorium waving a banner
Rubyhorse: Fine Line (Mpls) back around 2002. The band may not be well known, but they put on an incredibly tight set
Randy Newman: Fine Line (Mpls) back around 1993
Blue Rodeo: late '90s at Fine Line

I saved the best for last:
The Zombies: three outstanding shows (two at First Ave, one at Harriet Island) between 2003 and 2008--this band sounds great together, and they almost seem pleasantly surprised that their music is so well-received!
"The Time of the Season," Zombies? A classic!

Just remembered two more I gotta see before it's too late, The Eagles and Steely Dan. The Eagles are or were doing some reunion concerts recently, and Steely Dan was just in town, but I was going to be out of town. The rap against their live performances was that they were supposed to be more of a studio band. Anybody see either of these two great bands?

Yeah, the old '60s Brit-Invasion band! In addition to Time of the Season, She's Not There, Tell Her Know, I Love You plus great tracks from Odesey & Oracle, they also did the classic Argent tune "Hold Your Head Up" (Rod Argent along with Colin Blunstone being two of the main members of The Zombies).

One of the Zombies shows also included a twin-bill with another classic '60s band Love, which performed many of the tunes from Forever Changes (one of the best nearly forgotten LP's from the '60s--look it up on All Music Guide if you get a chance). This was about 2 years before Arthur Lee died from Leukemia.

They are not active; however, the australian pink floyd band is really good.

Joan Baez, the voice of an angel... Saw Stephen Stills about 15 years ago do an acoustic thing. Would have been better if he weren't in a big hall...

I always wanted to see Luther Vandross in concert, but sadly that'll never happen...such a beautiful voice silenced...RIP Luther.

I'd like to see Robin Williams but the ticket prices are astronomical...it's ridiculous what tickets cost nowadays.

I saw Kenny G twice and he sounded great. So did Ronnie Milsap, Kiss, Journey (even tho it was sans Steve Perry), Alabama, Alan Jackson, Billy Idol, and Prince.

Won't list who I have seen, been just fortunate to see who I've seen. NOW, who I would like to see, as far as current solo artists and groups, well, there is a lot. Here's some of them; Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Strawbs, Loreena McKennit, Metallica, Pentangle (original group when touring), Mike Oldfield, B.B. King, Matchbox 20, White Stripes, Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakum, AC/DC, Pat Metheny, George Benson, Miriam Makeba, Liona Boyd, George Strait, Barclay James Harvest, Fairport Convention, Kraftwerk, and lots more.
