Anyone else a Clutch fan? I was introduced to them by my boyfriend (now husband) in the early 1990's. I've been a huge fan ever since. Great meaty rock and roll w/ aggressive vocals. But the kicker for me is the intelligent lyrics...I love getting each new album just so I can read over what kooky stuff Neil Fallon has going on this time.

This is what they sounded like when I first discovered them:

I love the blues direction they're taking-without abandoning the all-out rock.

A friend of mine who owned a venue had a large Clutch tattoo and would consistently book them, knowing he was going to loose money on the gig just because they were his favorite band. That's dedication.

As far as Clutch goes, I never really got into them.

I'm not all that familiar with their music, but I like this quite a bit.
It's raw, it's real and it rocks hard.
