I'm looking for a low cost and reputable music download site. Most sites are 99 cents, but I did find one, MP3PANDA.COM, that was 20 cents; however, the initial funding is $20, and I really don't need to download that much music.

There are a few other sites like NAPSTER that claim to be free, but you need to pay a monthly fee.

I simply want a low cost site that will allow me to simply download and pay for what I need; for example if I want to download 5 songs @ 20 cents, I only want to be charged $1.

So looking for your best recommendations for a low cost music download site.

Thank you,....marc

Check out limewire.com. They have a free version and they also have a paid version that I think is maybe $20. Been using limewire for a couple years. When it pops up asking you to upgrade to pro, I always click on ask me later.

I've used MP3Fiesta.com. It's $0.20 per song, but you also have to fund it with $20. I already got most of the music I'll probably ever want from them. For the time being if I think of a song I want I'm using Amazon, their MP3s are $0.99.

I use Spiral Frog. They have a wide variety of music. The downside is that some of what they have is "tribute" type tracks and someone other than the original artist is singing. Lots of stuff that is not like that, but some is. 100% free.
